DAM Scandal

As per the story on the Hindustantimes.com a new scandal of dams has been added to existing long list of scandals. The current one is in Uttarakhand where many hydroelectric power projects (HEP) have been sanctioned. Number of Dams will be constructed on Bhagirathi, Alaknanda and Ganga for these HEP projects and these dams will kill the lifeline of Nation our famous River GANGA.

The above mentioned HEP projects will kill the lifeline of Nation river 'Ganga' famous for its religious attachment with peoples of India. Ganga is also very important source of water for big chunk of agricultural land in India and source of water supply for many states. As per the Controller and Auditor General (CAG) reports HEPS projects has been given to the companies who don't have any previous experience of building HEPs and the projects has been distributed in a way that it causes major revenue losses to the government. Also many big questions marks has been raised from environmental point of view for these projects.

Project developers has been favored by permitting them to divert the 90 per cent water of the river to the turbines which leaves only 10 percent for natural flow and in long term will lead to drying of river. The international standard for diversion of river water is maximum 75 percent. Already India has lost one of its famous river Saraswati and another river Yamuna is going through critical stages.

Hindustantimes also reported that government removed its power advisor and Chairman of its Jal Vidyut Nigam, Yogendra Pasadena so that he do not become a obstacle in “irregularities being done by the government”.

The biggest question is how the state and central government has passed all these projects and why the both levels of government did not think that leaving only 10 percent of natural flow in river will affect the agricultural crops and still a big slice of Indian population is dependent on agriculture. We all knows that agricultural production is a major factor in GDP of nation.

WE MUST SAVE OUR NATURAL RESOURCES TO SAVE OUR PLANET. WE ARE ALREADY FACING PROBLEM OF GLOBAL WARMING AND SCARCITY OF WATER.

PLEASE COME FORWARD TO RAISE YOUR VOICE AGAINST ABOVE.

Petrol & Diesel Prices

Today central government is going to decide on hike in rates of Petrol and Diesel which could be approximately Rs.3.50 (Rs. Three and half) per litre. If the rates of petrol and diesel are increased then inflation which is already very high will touch new peaks and leads to more burdened life for common people because when you increase petrol and diesel price the cost of transport increase and all sectors bears burns of it. The cost of vegetables (potato, tomato, onion, Brinjal, Ladyfinger, etc.) food items (wheat, pulses, rice, etc.) which automatically increase and may be double after 15 days.

Common men is in hope that good monsoon will give him some relief by bringing down the inflation but this initiative of government has crushed all hopes of common man. Government is saying that the move is being taken as a effort to save oil companies which are losing crores of rupees everyday due to increase in international prices of crude oil. Also government is planning to change the control mechanism of fuel prices and the petroleum product prices will go according to international prices in coming future, if it happens it may possible that in October you may have to buy to petrol @Rs70-75 per litre and pulses @Rs.100-120 per kg. and vegetables prices can not estimated.

I think government should increase the price of petrol in order to save oil companies but keeping in mind the already increased inflation and dying common man.

The Fuel Price control mechanism should be as going previously.

Environment in Residential Areas

When you are traveling on a two wheeler and cross some area which is full of trees do you feel some pleasure of coolness and freshness and feel uneasyness in the area where industrial waste is dumped. In residential areas we don't have much number of trees especially the old and congested part of every city and these areas are polluted becasue of pollution by general regular activity of human beings and also these old areas host some small industries.

An initiative is required in this direction to improve the number of trees and reduce pollution by new scientific methods. Some examples may be created by government in their own staff quarters which can be further replicated for general areas.

Dantewada

Yesterday Maoist attack a passenger bus and killed 44 peoples and some of them are Special Police Officers, Maoist used the landmine to blast the bus which is plying from Dantewada to Sukma. Once again it proved that Maoist are well equipped with arms and explosives but why common passengers even women's and children's, it against humanity. If Maoist have some demands they should not kill innocent peoples for that purpose.

I think government will definitely give compensation on immediate basis to victims.

Security forces must change their strategy to gather intelligence and must operate according to the specific operating procedures because every small mistake is like a opportunity for Maoist. Also government must provide better arms, equipments so that moral of security forces don't go down because in case security forces loose their morale it will be big defeat for government so on urgent basis security forces must be provided good arms and equipments in addition to awareness amongst the security personals about follow of SOP's. Also Government must try to take support of locals which can provide vital information.

India

India a nation well known through out the world for its centuries old culture and peacekeeping behaviour (India never invaded any country in her last 1000 years of history) is scaling new heights everyday on world map.

Engineers and Doctors of India have already proved their metal to the world and recognised by every country. We As a nation India is second-largest populated country in the world.

India is a nuclear power since 1974 when it first tested its nuclear device named as Smiling Buddha. The Nation is also standing strong on its feet in space exploration and recently India sent first unmanned lunar vehicle Chandrayaan to the moon.

In Sports India won one gold in shooting and Two bronze in boxing recently at Beijing Olympics . Viswanathan Anand, the great Chess champion is famous for his victory over computers. Kalpana Chawla, Astronaut of NASA is also an Indian. Indian Cricket team has also won One Day World Cup and T-20 World cup.

The growth rate of Indian Economy is also very good and all international financial bodies are confident that in coming decades Indian Economy will be a Super Economy and its growth rate will surpass the growth of China. Most of the current developed nations thinks that India will be a Super Power in coming decades.

By grace of God India is having very good environment with great combination of nature from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, a beautiful gift to the nation.

But to become a Superpower We as Indian Citizens need to work hard to keep pace of development and remove the loopholes of corruption, terrorism, bad politicians, naxalism, illiteracy, etc. which impact our chances to become a superpower. While we have to maintain pace of development we should also maintain our environment and natural resources.

BEST OF LUCK TO MY NATION AND SALUTE TO EVERY GOOD CITIZEN OF INDIA.

Government Offices

Few days back through some of my known I come to know a wonderful things about government offices system. The incident is related to Transport Department.

Basically when a person applies for renew of his/her permit for vehicle than the required fees is submitted in the form of Demand Draft (D.D) at RTO office but RTO office do not have the sufficient manpower or requisite system resources to manage Demand Drafts (D.D) received because thousand of demand drafts are deposited everyday and validity of D.D is only for six month from date of issue. Transport department is not able to encash these D.D

Deposit these demand draft at their bank to collect revenues because they receives thousand of demand draft everyday and due to this these demand drafts are not enchased and lying like a waste paper because demand drafts are valid only for a period of six months.

Now the question is that money has gone from the pocket of vehicle owner and not used by Department which is causing huge losses to Ex-chequer and leading to increase in rates of taxes and charges increasing inflation and burden on common man due to lack of government inefficiency.

Naxalism & Terrorism

If we look at internal security position of India we are standing at a very critical point because of problems in many parts of country. Most of our urban cities and states of north India like Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir faces threat of terrorism. While in the North East we already have problem of Insurgency. Problem of naxalism has already reached very high scale in many states like Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, West Bengal, Maharashtra.

And about external threats we are well aware about our relations with Pakistan where everyday some terror group plans something against us and China is continuously encroaching in our territory. In last few years our relations with Bangladesh is also gone down and scenario of Sri Lanks is already very known to everybody.

In view of above facts what will be the future of out nation and its citizens.

Modernisation Versus Environment

Today in the race of modernization against already developed countries of the world India as a nation is busy in building roads, bridges, buildings means concrete jungle and damaging its environment like anything.

Whenever we made any road we cut lots of trees and cut our hills for road construction material means double damage to environment and never plans how to compensate that loss so policy should be made that whenever anybody cuts one tree another tree is planed against the same.

Also when we made flyover we cut road side trees and drill the earth to raise the pillars for flyover again two sided attack on environment so our engineers must try to find out the designs which are environment friendly and have space for greenery consisting of not only flowers and plants but for trees also.

During the creation new residential colonies and sector by government also many of agricultural land is compromised instead of developing residential area on non-agricultural land.

I think government should impose a environment tax on the lines of education surcharge.

War With Maoist

After Dantewada attack in which 76 soldiers of CRPF killed by Maoist it is found that some peoples of CRPF and police forces are involved in supplying ammunition to Naxalist/Maoist which indicates that security forces are in big trouble and their internal working system needs lots of improvement.

In addition to catch of corrupt insiders government and security forces must also check following points for naxalist and block them :-

- Source of Finances

- Source from where they obtain arms and ammunition

- From where they purchase / acquire communication equipments

- Their methods of new recruitment

- Sources of their food supply

- Their locations in rural/urban areas from where they interact with locals

- Where & how they print their material

- Sources of their Political support

Recently I come to know that government has started filling big number of vacancies in naxal hit states which will definitely increase the confidence of local towards government and effect new recruitment of naxals.

Government must draw some surrender policy.

5 women devotees killed in stampede in Dera Sacha.

As per reports on the website of PTI news 5 devotees killed at Dera Sacha in Sirsa at yesterday night time when a rumour spread about presence of a snake and lead to stampede causing death of five persons and injury to many others. Devotees gathered to mark of foundation day.

Last year we have seen stampede cases in Jodhpur, Rajasthan and Nanida Devi temple at Himachal Pradesh and this year also in March 2010 many peoples died at Distt. Pratapgarh at Ashram of Kripalu Maharaj but still we did not learned our lesson and repeating the same mistake again and again.

In my article Crowd Management in Indian Temples posted on 14. Nov. 2009 at this blog proposed I again say that government should make a National Temples Management Board which take care of system in temples. Most of the temples receive very good amount of donations from their devotees but that all money generally taken by the individuals and no initiative is taken for betterment of temple and all the big temple authorities must be controlled by above board consisting of government nominees, religious leaders, local authority representatives. But it should not become a system of Bureaucracy.

CBI: Desai owns 10 houses

As per my previous article of 23 April, 2010 regarding arrest of MCI Boss Mr. Ketan Desai in bribe case of Rs. 2 crore for grant of approval to medical college at Punjab. Today as per news on Indian express website, CBI said that it had recovered documents of benami property, gold & jewellery which provides information about large amount of illegal money of Mr. Desai. Mr. Desai owns nearly 10 houses in various cities of Gujarat and having 1.5 kg of gold and 80 kg silver. Mr. Desai and his wife is also director in one of the real estate firm. It is also reported that Rs. 2 crore of bribe is the first instalment of total amount of bribe and MCI boss has asked for a total of Rs.8 crore. Just think about the college which are already approved by him.

NOW THE QUESTION IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MR. DESAI, WILL HE GET PUNISHMENT OR JUST ABLE TO MANIPULATE IT.

FIRST HE WILL FIGHT THE CASE IN LOWER COURTS THEN HIGH COURT AND AT LAST AT SUPREME COURT AND IN BETWEEN HE MAY COMPLES HIS LIFE.

SO THE RESULT IS ____________________? (Big Dash)

Rain Water Harvesting

The ground Water level is going down with every passing day and in view of increasing temperature the demand of water has gone up and extraction of ground water through tubewells / hand pumps are very high. To save water and increase the level of ground water different techniques of rain water harvesting must be immediately started on pilot basis in some cities of NCR(National Capital Region) as the season of rain will start in coming months.

Every new group housing scheme which is sanctioned by government must be passed on the condition of rain water harvesting

existing group housing societies must be motivated to adopt the system.

in residential areas with the help of NGO and RWA',s residents must be pushed to implement rain water harvesting system as individual or group.

Each society park / community centre must have ground water recharge facility.

In small village rain water must be diverted to existing ponds or by creating new ponds.

Everywhere it should be done in a scientific approved way. We are standing at last stage so we don't have the time to think, ITS ACTION TIME. BEGIN NOW.

MCI boss Ketan Desai arrested - India - The Times of India

As per the news on Times of India website on Thursday President, Medical Council of India has been arrested for taking bribe of Rs. Two crores for giving recognition to a Medical College in Punjab.

Medical Council of India power includes giving approval/disqualification of medical colleges/nursing institues/dental colleges and also recognition/de-recognition of of medical qualification.

After this incident just imagine what will be the standard of Health of citizens of India whose Doctors and Technicians are trained in colleges which don't have complete and adequate infrastructure, procedures and other resources.

The case of corruption also noticed and come into news last year about AICTE the organisation which gives approval for technical education colleges in India.

I AM WONDERING WHAT WILL BE THE STANDARD OF EDUCATION AND ALSO JUST IMAGINE ABOUT THE KNOWLEDGE AND TALENT OF PROFESSIONALS WHO PASSED FROM THESE COLLEGES?

ALSO WHAT IS THE SURETY THAT ENGINEERS AND DOCTORS WHO PASSED FROM THESE INSTITUTION WILL BE ABLE TO SERVE AND MAINTAIN EXCELLENT QUALITY FOR WHICH INDIA IS FAMOUS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.

Water Problem in HUDA Sectors

Due to increasing temperature and heat, demand of water has gone up very high in all sectors of HUDA as well as other areas. Few reason behind water shortage :-

- Long power cuts (Situation has gone from bad to worst due to long power cuts because tube wells do not have hotline power supply)

- Wastage of water (on cleaning of cars, corridors, house, etc.)

- Decreasing of ground water level

- Too much over extraction

- Non implementation of Rain Water Harvesting schemes

In last few decades we have wasted water like anything and neither follow the rules nor taken the initiative to recharge ground water. Due to modernization we have created big concrete jungle and left no open space so that ground water recharge takes place when rain comes. Actually rain water harvesting has not been implemented with strict enforcement. The best way to recharge the ground water is to make provision for rain water harvesting in every household and it must be a condition when government agencies give their permission to construction the house. For existing residential areas government should invite NGO and RWA to start applying method of rain harvesting.

Still if we did not awake and don't stop wastage of water in coming 2-3 decades we may not have the water and the city will become like a desert.

Parents say won't pay hiked fees - Delhi - City - The Times of India

As per the news on Times of India website today that most of the unaided school in the capital has increased the fees for the 2010-11 session and asked the parent to submit the fees. However Directorate of Education is saying that school needs valid needs to form a valid Parents Teacher Association and need clearance of this body before charging incremented fees. While Private school federation is saying their is no such act and circular of Directorate of Education is illegal. All India Parents' Association (AIPA) has decided in its meeting that they will pay fee only as per old rates. Schools federation is saying that they have to pay increased salary, and due to rising prices the expenses have increased while everybody knows that how much money is being paid to staff in private institutes.

In above scenario parents do not have any clear path known to them that what should they do. It has become a political games between Parents Association and Schools federation and in between the common parent is facing trouble and don't know he should join which group.

Although education standard in private school is good and their result also very good but all these private school are not working as social welfare organisation but has become a field of profit for investor who put their money in to this sector. All school gets income tax benefit and many other tax benefits because school/education is counted as social responsibility but now it is totally commercial. Today the Education is commercialized. Big investors are investing large amount of money in this sector to maximise their return.

I think government must be more vigilant against private bodies who are earning big revenues and make a grievance centre where parents can lodge their problems/grievance against any school.

Badarpur Tree Plantation

Due to construction of Badarpur Flyover and Metro Rail in already congested area of Badarpur, Jaitpur, Mahipalpur, Palla, AAli village, Badarpur Border the pollution level is very high on NH-2 Mathura Road. You will hardly able to see any trees between border to Mohan Co-operative Industrial Area because the area is highly commercial and very crowded.

In view of increasing pollution tree plantation drive must be taken in Badarpur Area. Trees can be planted on the gap between road, road sides, open area and peoples residing and working in this area must be motivated to plant and maintain the greenery.

Faridabad to Delhi

Yesterday I traveled From Faridabad to Delhi Domestic Airport via Karan Singh Shooting range road , Greater Kailash and found that foot path is being constructed on both side of road near shooting range and open space around tree is left, which is a good construction practice. In Greater Kailash and Airport area it is very hard to see trees, you are surrounded by all the concrete jungle. Instead of cutting the trees it is better to relocate the big trees if possible.

I think in view of Commonwealth Games some greenery must be maintained near airport area as it will not only help in maintaining environment and reduce pollution but also increase beauty of area.

Sreedharan has a heart attack- Hindustan Times

He is man who made possible the project of Delhi Metro and taken the Image of India to new heights on International level by completing the Delhi Metro Project. Delhi Metro still have to cover many more milestone under his guidance and India needs person like Mr. Sreedharan who has strong will power and knowledge to take the nation to greater heights.

I pray to God for his speedy recovery.

War with Maoist

Yesterday Maoist killed 76 CRPF (Central Reserve Paramilitary Force) Jawans in Chhattisgarh in a planned attack by surrounding them. Almost 1000 maoist equipped with automatic rifles, guns, explosives, landmine's trapped the CRPF company in a dense hilly forest area. One Deputy Commandant and Assistant Commandant also killed in attack but the number of maoist killed is not known. The level of attack shows the problem of Naxalism. Even if government retaliate it could not kill all maoist (thousand of peoples) because they are you own peoples so means & ways should be researched to convert maoist into good citizens.

After this big attack on forces, state and central security forces needs to fight in a completely organised, planned and equipped manner. The strategy must be devised so that security forces have least causalities. The state and central security forces needs to be strengthen their co-ordination and steps must be initiated to gain support of local peoples. I think local young persons should be recruited by security forces to fight the naxalist because it will be a two way attack on them, first it will enable state security forces to under local scenario and local power to fight secondly it will stop recruitment sources of naxalist. State and Central government forces must improve their intelligence units to gain knowledge about naxalist / maoist strategy and their sources of finance, arms, camps etc.

Women's of maoist areas should be provided help so that they can start some local work/handicraft work/self employment business which will support them financially and improve their confidence in government and peace. Also schools, hospitals and roads must be developed to bring development in naxal areas.

Also compensation to family of all the soldiers must be given on priority basis and no politics should be played on the Sacrifice of soldiers by any political party.

Delhi Metro Rail started Inderlok-Mundka Route

Today DMRC inaugurated its Inderlok Mundka line. DMRC has given it a name of Green Line and It is the first line of Delhi Metro which is using standard gauge instead of broad gauge and by starting of this route on standard gauge, Delhi Metro becomes the only Metro in the World having trains on both gauge standard and broad. Now the Metro network has expanded to more than 100 km.

The length of Inderlok Mundka route is 15.1 KM and will take 29 minutes in comparison to one hour travel by road. Residents and peoples of Paschim Vihar and Punjabi Bagh will be able to take benefit of this route. Now the peoples of Delhi must come forward to ride on metro and take off their vehicles from the road as it will not only save their time but will reduce the pollution in city.

By use of standard gauge metro has saved a good amount of money and DMRC team must be congratulated for it. Hopefully before Commonwealth Games will be able to start Badarpur, Gurgaon & Airport routes. Also DMRC must maintain strict safety measures and highest and best quality of construction.

Best of luck to DMRC team.

India and China

We knows that China is more strong in comparison of India at current scenario on various scales like defense, economy, population. Also growth & development in China is more than India and because of its strong position China is trying to push back India on many matters like International Nuclear Clearance, increase strength of its relation with Pakistan, Hidden support to the forces fighting against India like naxalist, communist, terrorist etc.

The main power of China is its strong economy so to defeat the China India should take some necessary steps to increase its pace of development and strengthen the Indian Economy. Some of the steps as per my views is

- Decrease Corruption by strict and fast enforcement of laws

- Initiatives to retain talent pool (education young peoples) from going abroad and also call back the all good Indian Doctors, Engineers & Scientist from foreign countries

- Steps to strength its ties with Anti-China Forces but not at the cost of bitter relations with China

- Up-gradation of Army, Navy & Air-force equipment, technology, arms, ships, fighter jets, nuclear power etc. on war scale

- Also steps must be taken to give more strength to our ties with Sri-Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and most important Pakistan

- Also India should tries for permanent seat (veto power) in United Nation Organization

- Must provide support to all Indian standing for their recruitments in International Organization especially Finance and social welfare organization

Internally I will say from President of India to common labour class person must work for 3 hours extra in a week at their own to increase the pace of development.

Flyover & Metro at Badarpur Delhi

The work of metro rail and flyover from Badarpur Thermal Power Station to Sector-37, Faridabad is in full swing keeping in mind to complete them before CommonWealth Games 2010. Although it is do not seems to be possible to start Badarpur flyover before Games but i hope that the work will not stop after complete of CommonWealth Games due to unavailability of funds, political hindrances, bureaucratic red-tapism etc.

Now Delhi is only 6 months away from CommonWealth Games. The development of Metro and Flyover at Badarpur will increase the prices of Real Estate in Surrounding areas of these two projects. As peoples working in Delhi will definitely interested to living in and around Delhi. Start of Metro and Flyover will decrease the traveling time to and from Delhi so the demand for surrounding area will be more and price rise will be seen.

Madhya Pradesh to allow women work two shifts in factories - Hindustan Times

It will be good initiative towards women's welfare but as we know the exploitation of labour in industrial sector is not satisfactory. Is Government has planned / designed any safety measures for the same. What system, procedures and other things should be provided and completed by industrial house before inviting women's in night shifts. Ways to protect the dignity of women's must be maintained before any organization is allowed for 2nd shift of working of women's at its place

Also our social system will have a great impact of it because generally Indian Families are headed by Sr. Male of the house, it will definitely increase more burden on him keeping in view the status of unemployment situation in country. The decision will have great impact on our social and family system.

Pepsi accused of over extraction of groundwater - India - The Times of India

As per the news on Times of India website the state government of kerala has made a report regarding over extraction of ground water by Pepsi at its plant in Kerala. It is good that now the state government is reviewing the working of Pepsi Plant for over extraction of ground water. But the response of company to media is that is using innovative recycling and recharging techniques to save water and brought down the usage by 60% in last few years. Also the company has received environment and water management awards.

I would only say that company should be allowed to operate but must be on the strict norms that it will invest its resources for recharge of water not only in plant but also in surrounding areas of plant. The performance and result must be verified at regular intervals. Also Pepsi should try to spread awareness in that area for improve of environment and provide funds to the local NGO's and start some project to increase ground water levels.

Government to table nuclear bill amid fierce opposition- Hindustan Times

As per news on Hindustan Times News website government is going to present nuclear bill in parliament today which gives benefits to nuclear equipment / material suppliers in case of any accident. Simply in case of any Bhopal Gas Tragedy like accident the equipment / material supplier will only have limited amount of liability and civilians / law of land will not be able to penalize the supplier crossing that limit and may be bill also says that it will not be a criminal offence. The bill is commitment made in 123 civil nuclear agreement with USA. Ultimately in case of any problem civilians will be not able to get any compensation and in view of political interest at last the compensation will be paid from the Government of India pocket means complete loss to the nation and whole profit to the suppliers.

If this bill is a requirement of 123 civil nuclear agreement with USA then i will say the interest of nation is not protected in 123 civil nuclear agreement and US negotiators has surely dictated it and able to manage / save the interest of America.

I strongly oppose it.

Save Aravali

Their is a news on Times of India website that government is going to recover amount of rehabilitation from offenders. It is really good if government successfully recovers amount of rehabilitation from the offenders who created havoc in this area for the own individual interest. But it is a known fact to local peoples that most of these mines are under the command of political leaders and main source of income for them. Due to political power in their hand i think it will be not possible for the government to recover the amount from offenders and later on matter will thrown in to cold bag.

But even now if mining is stopped and environment laws are enforced strictly and rehabilitation project are implemented on war scale then we will be definately able to save the environment of Aravali Hills. Also all the existing residential / commercial / industrial set up in aravali are must be forced to take measures to stop the pollution generated by them. Also some environment tax must be imposed on all the setup existing in aravali hills and additional charges must be imposed on new projects asking permission to operate in these hills.

Metro to Manesar on the Cards (Around town)

As per the news on Indian Express website Captain Ajay Singh Yadav, State Finance Minister, Govt. of Haryana announced in his budget speech on Wednesday that Government is planning to extend Metro to Manesar in addition to extension of Delhi Metro to Faridabad. He mentioned that linking of Bahadurgarh with Mundka border is also under process and Gurgaon Delhi Metro link is near completion.

The expansion of Metro in nearby areas of Delhi will increase connectivity and reduce traveling time for Delhi for the people living in surrounding areas of Delhi. It will definitely increase business / service sector scope the city. Metro will also contribute to control increasing level of pollution in NCR region.

Hope that after completion of Commonwealth Games infrastructure projects will not put in to cold bags.

It is very important to complete the project on time as it saves taxpayers money.

Another student commits suicide for separate Telangana

Few hours back i read in news that one more student at Osmania University committed suicide in support of creation of separate Telangana state. Reason behind Suicide of students is motivation/links/false impression in mind of students created by few people that they will have better life prospect after creation of Telangana but I think it is not true as it will lead to wastage of taxpayers money. More Public money need to be spent for One Chief Minister, his cabinet & other ministers security, infrastructure, pay & allowances and support staff required. Also Chief other bureaucratic staff required for separate state. More chances of corruption.

It is sad that political peoples have involved the young generation (students) for their malign interest and greediness for power.

Badapur Flyover

The construction of flyover from Badarpur Thermal Power Station, Delhi to Sector-37, Faridabad covering Badarpur, Delhi Haryana Border, Jaitpur crossing is in full swing. It seems that government is trying to complete the flyover very soon. The contractor company executing this work HCC is a very well known company. This company has constructed the well known Bandra Worli Mumbai Sea link bridge. After looking at the speed of work and progress of last 2-3 months i am hopeful that the flyover will complete before scheduled date of completion.

Parallel to it construction of Delhi Metro is also going in Mohan Co-operative Industrial Area at Mathura Road NH-2 Highway.

But in both project it should be kept in mind that quality should not be compromised and precautions and safety measures should be followed to avoid any accident during and after period of construction as some accidents had already taken place at Delhi Metro construction site.

After Start of Badarpur Flyover Jam problem at Badarpur border will solve and peoples commuting between Delhi and Faridabad will not face traffic jam problem. Also it will save lot of time and Flyover will contribute to better development of the surrounding area.

Maoists' ultimatum to Govt: free our leader or face consequence- Hindustan Times

As per my previous article of Feb. 18, 2010 I mentioned that more news of attack may come from Naxalist/Maoists as the government has started a multi strategy based action plan plan to remove naxalism/Maoism. So the news of threat by Maoists to Government shows that they are frustrated.

Attack of Maoist on Security Forces and threat of more attacks/consequences shows that they are feeling heat of Government Action Plan especially after recent arrest of senior leaders of Maoists. They may increase their attacks on common peoples and also abduct government officials/celebrities/politicians etc. but government should not come under their pressure in view of these tactics and must take hard decision in view of abduction cases.

I hope that Government Action Plan to remove Naxalism/Maoism has been designed keeping in mind about welfare of poor/tribal people and also remove/decrease gap between rich and poor. It must be made sure that during security operation innocent peoples especially women and childrens are not harassed because that will sow seed future of future problems.

Government must develop Schools, Hospitals, Infrastructure in naxal areas to win confidence of common people. Also better agricultural loan, small industry loans, local/custom trade loan must be provided to the peoples of naxal areas so that these peoples do not engage in naxal activities. It is worthwhile if good agricultural equipments/training is available in Maoist areas. Government vacancies in naxal belts must be filled on priority basis. Help of NGO's must be taken to improve condition of tribal's.

BSE Sensex Reached 17000 Mark

Today BSE Sensex reached 17000 mark and Dalal Street is moving fast. Major gainer of today are Jaiprakash Associates, Tata Power, Reliance Industries, NTPC and Mahindra & Mahindra because of positive post budget sentiments and news of Greece economy bailout and extra austerity measures totaling 4.8 billion euros ($6.49 billion) Greece's cabinet.

FII sentiments seems positive and fresh buying are seen in market.

I am hopeful that BSE sensex will reach 20000 mark in this year only but before buying anything check the individual analysis of share.

Also monsoon will have its own impact on market / investors sentiments.

National Animal Tiger

Since our childhood we are taught about National Game, National Flag, National Bird, National Flower and National Animal. Yes Our National Animal is TIGER. But unfortunately and careless attitude of everyone had created a big problem for this species. Due to poaching only few hundred tigers remained in the country. Last Year Prime Minister himself intervene after media news that now no tiger is present in famous sanctuary 'Sariska'. But now it seems to be a old story and news whose everyone has forgotten. Some important questions are

1. Latest status about tigers in Sariska?

2. How many peoples who done poaching/illegal trade of Tiger skin/bones/etc. sent behind bars?

3. What is the total progress regarding rehabilitation of Tigers?

4. Is there any increase in numbers of Tigers.

5. How much funds used for Tigers conservation.

To save this endangered species break your silence, show your support, talk about it, blog to save them and again force the government to review the progress.

Commonwealth Games 2010 Readyness

The deadline of Commonwealth 2010 Games is coming near but the arrangements are still long back behind completion schedule, number of hotels are not enough nor the stadiums are complete even after pushing more and more extra funds and manpower. Beautification of City do not seems possible. Cleaning of River Yamuna despite orders of Supreme Court and spending of hundred crores of public money is not upto the mark. Arrangement of volunteers, who will support and guide visitors, officials, players, etc. during games. Overall improvement /awareness to change attitude of Delhities for games.

Also security and traffic arrangements during the games is a biggest challenge for the Government. Some of the alternatives in mind of administration agencies which not seems to be feasible are :

- Paying Guest accommodation for visitors at Residential places

- Even and Odd Number vehicles will remain off the roads turn wise

- Holiday/Off on particular days in government / big private corporate offices area wise during games on the basis of games schedule

- Training to students/engagement of NGO's etc.

- English speaking course for employees of transport department like DTC

- Course/Tips/Motivational material for government employees to not ask for bribe during games period from any foreigners and deal with them politely while maintaining Rules

- Air security through helicopters and may be engagement of army/paramilitary personals at last movement

In last I wish Best of luck to my country to successfully host games.

Govt clears 5,000 more post-grad medical seats - India - The Times of India

It is a good step by government as the step will improve health conditions of the country and better caring of its citizens. We have more number of specialist doctors after 2-3 years and I am very much hopeful that it will also bring down cost of health facilities in the country and poor and lower middle class peoples will get better health services.

As a precautionary measure I will say that the relaxations given to medical colleges from teaching point of view must be withdrawn after certain period of time to increase quality of teaching in the medical colleges especially at private medical and dental colleges because now a days education sector is full of capitalism and is being exploited for commercial and profit purpose. In short education is commercialized now a days.

It is worth to be noted that best engineers of our country generally fly away to foreign countries in search of better options so while we are trying to increase number of doctors we must make sure that the top medical colleges who produces best doctors in the world must make a provision for their topper students so that these students provide their initial years(2-3 years) of service to the nation, it may be in some private/government/other organization but within the geographical limits of India. Also some ratio of whole medical students of the country must be given rural postings.

Maoists kill 10 Bihar villagers in 'revenge' attack - India - The Times of India

It is a very sad news that naxalist are killing common peoples and burning house/farms of villagers and shows that they are not fighting for some good cause and i think more news of these type will come in coming months as central and state government co-ordinated action based on multi-point strategies has been initiated against the naxalist in various states.

Naxalist/Maoists also doing kidnapping of Government officers/Peoples Representatives/person spreading awareness and as a part of their frustration they are doing attacks on common peoples which will be the biggest strength for government in coming future as the common man will start supporting government agencies in view of these attacks by Naxalists. Naxalists are trying to spread fear instead of building faith of common man for them and I hope government agencies will definitely take benefit of it to gain peoples faith in government functionaries.

The only concern for me is the support of corrupted officials/politicians who may create blockage in working of central/state agencies in view of their own personal malign interest. I hope that central government will definitely handle the position and do not comes under pressure/tactics of corrupt/malign interested peoples.

Indian Hockey Team

Indian Men's Hockey team do the strike and did not attended the National Camp and Indian Women's Hockey team also weared black bandage on their arms during practice at camps and the both the activities are highlighted by Media Channels and team gets funds from various sources including politicians/corporate sector etc but my view is that it is just a chance for the funding agencies to make themselves popular.

Now does anybody inquiring about the status of hockey team and what our players got out of the total funds promised and utilization of funds are properly done or not because I think the big chunk of it has been eaten by mediators.

Our National Game is is dying due to politics/corruption/wrong policies, kindly come forward to save it and present your views how to save it and remove corruption / politics from Hockey Federation.

Indian Railway Budget

This month Railway Budget will be presented before parliament under the command of Smt. Mamta Banerjee, Railway Minister and everyone must be thinking about the changes that will be introduced this time as in previous years Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav has changed the history of Railway Department from a loss making unit to very profitable department.
I wish Madam Banerjee Best of Luck for maintaining growth pace  of Railway. I personally wants to see some further reduction in passenger fares as done by Mr. Lalu during his tenure continuously. Also I hope that facilities provided at Stations and trains will also improve.
Common men also thinks that West Bengal will get a bigger slice of Railway budget as Railway Minister is their 'Didi'.
All Delhiwals are thinking about development at Railway Stations from Commonwealth Games point of view.
Let us See what changes Didi introduces.

It is a open attack & challenge by radical groups on government of both countries India & Pakistan. India offered Peace  Talks with Pakistan which discontinued in wake of Mumbai 26/11 attack while Pakistani army fighting against radical group in Swat Region should take a note of it and instead of killing terrorist in battle field international community should devise strategy which attacks on their core foundation in following ways :-

Finally, FIR registered against khap members - Chandigarh - City - The Times of India

Yes it is a good that FIR has been registered but after few days when media forget the matter and administration put it in cool bag what will happen?

The complainant and his family/relatives will be insecure because in some previous cases the crowd attacks and kills the person or his relatives even in presence of security provided to him.

I am of view that in this case keeping in view the future of child the husband wife should not be separated.

Also if khap panchayat?s wants to stop these issues in future it must make some policy/system.

Mining in Aravali Hills

Today I read a news in Hindustan Times about Partial Mining Lease in Aravali Hills okayed by Haryana government in Faridabad and Palwal area. Lease will be given to Private players for a period of 7 to 10 years. and the same may be extended to Gurgaon including Mewat area after Supreme Court permission.

I just want to say when mining will start it will definitely affect our environment so did the government had made some provision/plan/guidelines to save environment or the exercise which will be carried out for calculating the impact on nature/environment and how the same will be cured. I think heavy environment taxes must be imposed so that environment tax money can be used for planting of trees, re-originating natural water resources, giving re-birth to wildlife etc.

Moreover as we all know that all the parties involved in mining for this area are powerful peoples (politicians/bureaucrats/corporate) and these all have the knowledge about means & ways for illegal mining, I mean that they do mining of 10 kg and pay for only 1 kg. and every party involved in it have their commission from top to bottom against the same.

A report for re-structuring activities of environment carried out by different government departments in last decade against the impact of mining during the same period.

At last in one sentence I will say "MINING SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED AT ANY COST."

China set to become world’s 2nd largest economy

As per the news on zeenews.com China set to become the world's 2nd largest economy surpassing Japan and followed by America. Really the Chinese Economy is really doing very well and it seems that in next few years it will be the biggest economy in the world as China is fully exploiting its large manpower resources and a leading nation for many sectors. China has come out of recession very soon by providing big stimulus package and its growth rate is wonderful as moreover than the expectations.

Being a Indian I hope that our economy will also accelerate and results are better than required and we should learn from our counterpart to lead the world.

44 institutions to lose deemed varsity status

It is a good move by Government in favor of quality education for Indians and will make a strong impact on commercialization of education. Every educational institute now a days is being handled by family persons instead of academicians and interest shown by capitalist in this filed during last decade has made situation worst. Educational School/Colleges/Institutes are a mode of tax free Income/Earning for those peoples and not for upliftment of society.

I think all these universities will make a association and file a case in court and they will also use their network against it and definitely most of them will get time to complete their deficiencies. Also most of them will not hesitate to use means of corruption. According to my view more than 50% of these 44 deemed universities will be able to keep themselves running.

Facebook and McAfee Join Hands to Offer Free Security Trial

The above move will increase users faith towards facebook and i am sure that many other social networking sites like twitter, orkut, dig, technorati, Myspace etc. will follow the move and provide their users with security measures in association with IT security firms like Nortron/Avast/Trend Micro/Panda etc.

And this move will definitely improve business and profits of IT Security Firms by reducing their marketing cost and increasing clientele base.

Even if it is not forwarded to Apex court how much enforcement of the same will take place is a question in itself because in our country their are so many rules and laws but enforcement takes place only when situation pass out of hands.
