As per the news read on navbharattimes website the killer blueline buses which are main part of Delhi Transport system for a long time is going to complete their journey. Delhi government has announced on Tuesday that 823 blueline buses permit finished on tuesday night while After 31 January all the blueline buses will close down and as per Delhi Government Transport Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely DTC is fully prepared to meet the passenger load but their may be some problem initially. DTC has large number of buses ready to cope up with situation. These blueline buses have killed many peoples during last decade and many times the demand has been raised for closing operation of these buses. The rude and filthy behavior of blueline bus staff will always remain in the memory of Delhities. The unemployment of around 5000 staff of blueline buses may become a social problem and Government must plan to do something in this regard.

 

Hopefully DTC will definitely operate the buses efficiently and safely. All the drivers, conductors and other staff will be trained for efficient operations, passenger friendly behaviour. About DMRC i will say that it is a new government undertaking and needs more funds so surely the Metro will maintain its standards and do not fall under the passengers load.

 

It also seems that it will not only help DTC to increase its revenue but also bring some more passengers to Delhi Metro. In short the government ventures will earn more money.

As per the news on Economictimes website CBI special court has given four-year imprisonment to a CMD of Uflex Ltd. in large-scale bungling in allotment of Noida Development Authority plots. The petition was filed by the Noida Entrepreneurs Association alleging bungling in the allotment of land in different sectors and in commercial Sector 18 in Noida. The case was going on in court since last five years. CBI Special Court Judge also slapped fines of Rs 50,000 each to Former UP chief secretary Neera Yadav and Chaturvedi.

It is just a single incidence which is known to us actually it is a common practice for all private/deemed universities, private engineering and management colleges to give admissions to the students through management quota only after accepting extra money, the method of taking this wrong money is sometimes in the form of cash/donation/capitation fee/etc.

Wherever you go for admission through management seat you have to pay according to the prescribed rates of that institute, while their is a scope of some negotiation but you have to pay for it.

This is purely commercialization of education and proves that poor and common men can not afford the higher education and it is the way to protect the rich class. The start of Sarita Vihar to Badarpur Metro line is delayed according to news appeared in TimesofIndia website because Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety has asked some technical details from DMRC after inspecting the section. This section covers three stations namely Mohan Estate , Tughlaqabad and Badarpur. While the line from Central Secretariat to Sarita Vihar started on 3rd October, 2010 for CommonWealth Games Opening Ceremony but from Sarita Vihar to Badarpur Route is not started due to delay and accident at Zamrudpur.

At the time of opening Sarita vihar to Central Secretariat line it is said that Sarita Vihar to Badarpur line will start before Diwali but still is not started, it raises a question that how the CMRS cleared the Sarita Vihar  to Central Secretariat line in just two days and now cleared the rest of section even after 3 days. It shows that compromise has been done during the inspection of Central Secretariat to Sarita Vihar line and nobody knows what loopholes left in the civil construction. All has been done to meet the deadlines of CommonWealth.

No doubt that DMRC has executed the Phase-I in a good way with very good quality construction and in phase - II it used some new techniques and latest international technology. Also DMRC is world class organisation but in phase-II some compromise has been made to meet the CommonWealth Games Deadline.

I hope that any loopholes which are compromised previously to save the pride of Nation in view of CommonWealth Games will be reviewed and corrected by Delhi Metro.

It is really a hurricane task to execute and manage the Metro Rail project but Mr. E Sreedharan has really become an example in front of whole world that what talent Indian peoples have.

These are two new courses in the country and the DTU will become first university to start medical engineering. DMRC has started the trial of metro train from Sarita Vihar to Badarpur on Monday night and hopefully it will be open to public before Diwali. Really DMRC has worked fast to develop the central secretariat - badarpur stretch of metro because they have completed in a very short period. Sarita Vihar to Central Secretariat line has been started before commonwealth games but the remaining stretch of Sarita Vihar to Badarpur via Mohan Estate, Tuglakabad is under trials and will start its operation for public hopefully before Diwali. It is a Diwali gift given to for the people of Delhi and NCR by DMRC.

I hope that no compromise on quality has been done to meet the deadlines.
