Indian Share Market

Yesterday BSE Sensex was down by 833 points closed at 16630 one another biggest fall in history of market. The much awaited Reliance Power IPO listed in NSE at a price of Rs. 530/- touched high of Rs. 590/- and rolled down in minutes and closed at Rs.373/-. The predicted price range for this share was Rs.600-900 but the listing price of Rs.530 sent a negative shock wave in investors. The whole market was down due to Global cues. Investment Experts suggest that investor should not book the looses and wait for the stability. It is expected that market will further move down between 14500 - 15300. In last week Real Estate firm Emaar MGF & Wockhardt Hospitals pulled back their IPO offering from the market due to poor response. Here i would like to mention that since the time Reliance Power IPO came into market all the major/reputed shares like ONGC, SBI, NTPC, RPL, RCom etc. are down due to slow down in USA economy (the biggest economy in the world) and other global cues. In next 3-4 month market will recover and so the Reliance Power will also recover.

Government will definitely complete its duties in the budget and look out that investors interested is protected.

Today I think market will open at move upward in starting sessions.

Lets Wait and Watch.

Linking

This sounds very interesting and somehow appeals to my desire for organized things. So here it goes:

Part one, supply links:
Copy all the links below (make sure it's alphabetized) and replace a single link under the appropriate alphabet. If your domain name, or even the title of your blog, starts with an " A," you'd replace the link under that alphabet and put the replaced link at the bottom. Also, don't forget to credit the tagger, or where you got the list from, at the end of the list with a full URL of the post so that a pingback gets generated.

Two questions for the tagged:
What is your marker of success...right now?
What would be your marker of success a month from now?

I will answer the question for me.
My marker of success is hitting the front page in Digg 6 times in the last month.
My marker of success a month from now would be writing an article about mathematics which would reach the front page.

I got the long list of tags from:

India and Pakistan

India and Pakistan two neighboring country had fought three wars with each other. Both countries are engaged in acquiring, developing of new aircrafts, tanks, missiles, nuclear bombs etc. India conducted its first nuclear test in Pokhran, Rajasthan on May 24, 1974. After 23 years again India conducted three nuclear test on 11 May 1998 followed by two more test on 13 May 1998. In response to India’s nuclear test Pakistan also developed nuclear bomb and carried out five nuclear test on 28 May 1998 in Chagai Hills, Balochistan. India and Pakistan had also developed various types of short, medium and long range missiles to carry nuclear warhead. Missiles with these neighbouring countries are as follows :

The development of arms, weapons in India done by Defence Research Development & Organization (DRDO) and Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), Directorate of Technical Development (DTD) carries out this responsibility for Pakistan.

Recent development between India and USA for nuclear co-operation had developed another new twist in the scenario.

The development of missiles and nuclear bomb by these countries had generated arms race in South Asia. But in recent years India and Pakistan have initiated and developed peaceful relation with each other and started Samjahuta Express (train service), bus service and trading.

I am personally interested that India and Pakistan should become one following the path taken by Germany so that they can make history again. Both the countries have great potentials to become economically, politically, defense power in world.

Moreover before 1947 before independence, they are one.

Taare Zameen Par

Taare Zameen Par a Hindi movie produced & directed by Aamir Khan. After watching the movie I can say that it is another nice movie produced for a social problem. A totally different kind of movie focusing on the problem of studying child who faces competition in today’s stressed world. Aamir Khan had presented a source of guidance for parents who wants their ward to become only doctor & engineer of tomorrow. A different approach for teachers is also presented in a very nice way. Movie shows that each and “Every Child is Special” and have his own kind of talent. It may be possible that a child who is not good in studies may be excellent in sports, arts, dance or some other extra activity. Aamir had played a role of teacher named Ram Shankar Nikumbh who solves a problem of 8-year old students named Ishaan Awasthi (role played by Darsheel Safary). Picture shows how a teacher can help a student to overcome the problems. A hidden fact of family love is also present as parent regularly comes to meet their ward in hostel even knowing that his academic performance is very bad. The other positive part of the movie is that there is no glamour, romance or unethical scene are their and you can watch the movie with your family.

Best of luck to Aamir Khan, Darsheel Safary and whole team of Taare Zameen Par who have work hard for this nice movie.

I hope Bollywood will produce more good movies like Taare Zammen Par.

Delhi Metro Rail

Government of India and the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, in equal partnership have set up a company named Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. under the Companies Act, 1956. The Delhi metro rail project presented a picture of success in front of whole world over passing the hurdles of bureaucracy, political stunts, corruption and other problems which generally occurs in the path of any Government project. It has been delivered before set schedule and within its budget limits. Metro rail runs on at a speed of 80 km per hour. Delhi Metro provides a comfortable journey as the population of capital has increased from 57 lacs in 1981 to 162 in 2006. In 1980 approximately 5 lakhs vehicles were plying on the roads in while in 2007 more than 50 lacs vehicles are plying on the roads leading to problems of traffic jams, pollution, accidents on the roads due to traffic and increased number of vehicles, although the road network had been increased from time to time. Roads cover 25% area of city and still not sufficient as numbers of vehicles are growing at a very rapid speed and personally I would say that the people’s car ‘Nano’ by TATA will increased it like anything. The solution of above all problems is Delhi Metro Rail. Metro since its first journey in 2004 had greatly improved the situation and first railway project in the world to earn carbon credit. United Nations counted the metro under the Clean Development Mechanism. The number of riders has increased by 26% in year 2007. Twenty crores commuters have used metro in last year. In 2007 earnings of metro is 236 crores According to an estimate due to metro their will be 1600 less buses on the roads, saving of fuel and less pollution, less accidents on the roads. Metro currently run on three lines. First line from Shahdara to Rithala, Second from Vishwa Vidyalaya to Central Secretariat and third one from Indraprastha to Dwarka having total no. of 59 stations using high standards of safety. It Coaches are designed for comfort and safety and automatic door opening and closing mechanism automatic brakes in case of accidental opening of gates and facility for passengers to talk to driver in Emergency.

The security of Metro has been equipped with latest and automatic safety equipments from CISF.

Metro has been planned for complete NCR region the work is in progress for taking it Noida, Gurgaon and upto Nangloi.

Metro rail provides facility of escalators on its stations with emergency stop button on top, bottom and middle.

At last I can say metro has presented a role model to be followed for other congested metro cities.

Hillary Clinton's word: It's worth nothing

A New Hampshire newspaper tears into Hillary Clinton for breaking her pledge not to campaign in Florida: "Sen. Hillary Clinton signed a pledge not to "campaign or participate" in the Michigan or Florida Democratic primaries. She participated in both primaries and is campaigning in Florida. Which proves, again, that Hillary Clinton is a liar."
