AGAINST RESERVATION

Few days back on net I read about reservation. The definition of reservation has changed in last 3-4 decades. Different sections of society are aggressive and demanding reservation for them because now the reservation is like getting a direct benefit without hard work while the really poor and needy feel harassed because he doesn’t get it even when he/she is talented. In many cases reservation makes rich richer and makes poor poorer and creates inequality in society which is against the objective of constitution that there must be EQUALITY AMONG ALL. The reservation is becoming a social culprit with each passing day.

Let’s imagine a scenario as under mentioned:-

A person who belongs to reserved section of society starts his education with financial concession in fees, relaxation in age and also gets relaxation in marks. In many courses, colleges, universities etc. he receives financial scholarship just because he belongs to reserved class. He gets his degrees/certificate although he/she may not be enough capable. Now after completing his/her education when he/she is equipped with educational degree like others but still for getting job he/she gets benefit again (reduced form cost, less marks and relaxed age criteria) and after getting government job he gets salary as per government grades which is normally 40-50 thousand now a days and now the reserved person is well equipped financially as well as socially to take care of his family and is a part of society at par with others. He/she is having good house, car, scooters and his children’s are getting education is top private institutes of the city and his children’s will also get reservation benefit like his parents which clearly means now the children’s will rise one level above the society which definitely creates inequality in society against the law of equality as mentioned in constitution and clearly rich becomes richer.

Also thinks about a scenario where civil structures are built by an inefficient Engineer or health services given by an incompetent Doctor’s.

While on the other side of the coin a general category student starts his education but drop out because of his inability to bear educational expenses or completes his education by working hard or borrowing from others and becomes a merit holder but when he applies for a job he had to again pay more for the form cost and needs to fight with least marks scorer and still doesn’t receive the job he is capable for, then he adjust for some private job or get some junior job where he works as an assistant under the least scorer and unable to take care of his family and leaves a poor people life in society and again he is not able to take care of his family and his children’s get education in government school/charitable school or in some simple school and his children’s also doesn’t get good education and unemployed and again inequality generated in society and clearly poor becomes poorer.

I AM NOT AGAINST RESERVATION but reservation must be given to only those who is meritorious and financial week and needy irrespective of his caste or religion.

Anyone must be given on merit and financial status of the society AS PER THE OBJECTIVE OF EQUALITY AMONG CAN BE ATTAINED.

Reservation

1. What is Reservation? What is the objective of Reservation.

I think reservation is a idea for bringing forward the peoples of different communities who are poor, weak or uneducated due to loopholes in social structure.

In current context the able, educated and strong communities in India demanding reservation totally defeated the objectives and basic idea of reservation. It is a political game of vote bank for leaders and way of getting rich and moving ahead of others for many peoples. Now Reservation is generating divide between the society. It seems that leaders are repeating the history like British government using DIVIDE AND RULE POLICY.

Recently in Haryana agitation had been hijacked by anti social elements and big financial and economical losses happened on above that so many human lives gone which is a irreparable loss. Even now a big distance came between the hearts of all communities.

The motive, objective and definition needs to be redefined in current circumstances. It must be given on the basis of merit and financial position of applicant as the peoples who are previously poor and uneducated are now properly settled and financially sound so to implement the concept of equality among all it must be provided to the needy according to his/her talent and financial background.

I am not against reservation but my belief is that the constitution makers aim is to give equal status to all Indians which must be completed by leaders of today.

Even Gandhiji aim is to bring EQUALITY among all NOT THE DIVISION IN SOCIETY.

Reservation in private sector for SC/ST peoples is a political move by some political peoples who are thinking only about their votebank and selfish. Since last many years reservation policy is going in government sector job and the performance of government sector and whole system is known to everybody. If anyone has knowledge, competitiveness, talent than he should get the job otherwise not. Now a days even some top class rich SC/ST families are taking benefits of reservation for their wards which is defeating the purpose of Reservation and in fundamental the equal status for all of our constitution.

If reservation policy is implemented in private sector it will only lead to damage of competitiveness of Indian companies in comparison to their global partner. If anyone has talent he will automatically get the job but should not be based on his religion and cast. It will make very big negative impact on performance of private companies.

I am strongly not in favour of this policy and think that reservation must be given only to those who are poor and have some talent. Funds must be invested by private sector / corporate sector to develop talent in poor sections of society.

Reservation Policy

Reservation is a big issue in India. What is the basic objective of reservation, why necessity of reservation arises. I am strongly against current reservation policy. Generally many peoples who are talented do not get proper opportunity to go ahead and someone with less talent goes ahead. Reservation must be given only to those peoples who do not have proper infrastructure & financial incapable to use their talent for betterment of society. Some big officers who are from reservation quota are are able to arrange good facilities for their wards but still they get reservation which is really injustice to the talented and needy peoples.

Reservation must be given to poor and talented peoples, It should not be on the basis of caste & religion. Caste and religion divides the society which leads to tension between different communities and we know about the communal riots in India in last 2-3 decades.

To fight against the reservation Medical students stand and started their protest but no political party came in support of them and neither any NGO, individuals, students from other streams came to support them.

The main point is absence of political support to these protesting students which clearly present the aims & objective of political parties. All political leaders and parties are just fighting to gain power, acquire money for themselves. They don't think about society and nation as claimed by them and they draw their manifesto to gain more and more votes.

I think current reservation policy must be stopped immediately and a national reservation policy must be drawn on the observation given by representatives from every section of society. I think we must invite some international experts for the same who do not belongs to India.

Reservation

Reservation is a issue which had spreads its roots deeply into the Indian society which is not right. If you want to bring the prosperity than you should educate the weaker not the person whose attitude is not right but have dearth of resources with them.

Recently Gujjars demanded reservation and lots of peoples have been killed during agitations. Much of public as well as private property get damaged during the agitation.

If we want to do something good to society than reservation system must be finished and anyone who is not having finance to study than he must be provided help / quota but not everyone based on caste system. Caste based reservation system divides the society and upbrings inequality. It is just politics.
