Few years back I was think about solarisation of coaches of Indian Railway for which recently I come
to know about the Indian government initiative. Railways are starting it as a pilot
basis. Roof top of some trains will be converted / covered with solar
technology so that some part of power requirement of rail will be used /
supplied by solar power. I think it is a long term investment which will not
only protect environment but increase level of comfort for passengers also. The
big hurdle in it is high cost of solar cells but if we keep harming environment
for cheap and saving money ultimately it will cost our coming generations
health, life and most important the existence of humans on this planet. Not only railways but automobile industry must look towards the use of solar energy for cars & two Wheeler's.
I request
everyone to WAKE UP, WAKE UP FAST as
by wrong doings of humans has already detorated the environment.
Glaciers are melting, mostly metro cities all over the world are polluted in terms of water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution.
AT LAST BEST OF LUCK TO INDIAN RAILWAYS FOR THIS SOLAR PROJECT.
