Election 2019

The biggest festival of democracy 2019 is going on and five phases are complete and sixth phase is going to held tomorrow. During these election campaign of all parties it has been worth to mention that political leaders break all moral and ethical limits of words and allegation. They made false, non ethical, abused and even used very low grade words for women's.

This kinds of language and allegation leads to fall of social and communal harmony of society and in coming decades it may leads to problem of law & order at many places and the sufferer will be common men (remember common men is not of any particular community, religion or caste, he is a person who earns daily and eats, in common hindi we says jo roz kuwa khodta hai or roz pani pita hai) so i say that to save the common men who earns daily for his bread the level of allegations and language should be in limits by every political party and leaders as the leaders words set the example for society.

It is also important that all promises made by parties should be on the path of development and betterment of nation not for any particular community, religion or caste. They should work in direction that make Nation stands on its legs. Every citizen should work hard and in true spirit without opting for wrong ways of earning.

Here i clear that i don't belong to any particular political group.

At last request that every one should vote.

2019 LOKSABHA ELECTION

2019 LOKSABHA ELECTION

2019 Loksabha election in our country is announced. It is one of the biggest festivals of Democracy of India. India spends huge amount of money, manpower and other resources in election process. Whole government machinery is put to use for election. All political parties put their all resources for victory. Each and every political leader works overtime to increase their popularity and support among common men and tries to win election by hook or crook.  As per my personal views generally a MP candidates spends around 3 to 5 crores in their constituency for advertisement and other expenses.

In Indian parliament 543 members are elected and on an average three candidates fights election from a constituency and if spends minimum 4 crores the total comes to 12 crores for one constituency. Means the total estimated spending for 543 seats are as follows :-
12 crores x 543 seats = 65,16,00,00,000 (6516 crores)
The above figure is only for candidate’s expenditure.

The cost to government is not known. The cost of manpower, infrastructure, safety and security arrangements are very huge. After completion of election the next government recovers these spending from common men to fill the government treasury. The common men and economy bears the unnecessary weight of election expenses on their shoulder. If the above huge budget is used for development of nation could yield a big change.

HERE I WOULD LIKE TO CLEAR THAT I AM NOT AGAINST ELECTION BUT AGAINST UNNECESSARY HEAVY EXPENDITURE ON ELECTION CAMPAIGN. ELECTION SHOULD BE DONE IN SIMPLE AND COST EFFICIENT WAY SO THAT FUNDS AND RESOURCES MAY BE USED FOR BETTERMENT OF NATION.

HARYANA ELECTION

In Haryana recently election held on 15th October, 2014 in which 1351 candidates are in the fight. As per general view of common man average expenditure of one candidate for purpose of election is Rs.1,00,00,000/- (Rupees One Crore) although the limit given by election commission is Rs.28,00,000/-(Rupees Twenty Eight lacs) as per information with me. If the figure of Rs.One Crore is multiplied to the number of candidates fighting elections then it will be as follows :-
135 * 1,00,00,000/-=Rs.13,51,00,00,000/-(Rs. One thousand three hundred fifty one crores)
WOW IT IS REALLY A VERY BIG FIGURE. ISN’T IT?
Other than the candidates expenditures election commission also needs to spend so much money to hold the election in form of security arrangements, on duty officers etc. This will be minimum around Rs.500 crores. Also all the government offices, private offices, schools, banks etc. remains close due to election and roughly it will also cost atleast Rs.1000 crores to the economy of state. If we add all the above expenses the figure will be Rs.2500 crores (a really very big amount).
The important point is if this Rs.2500 crores spent for development and betterment of society and state can make BIG DIFFERENCE.
As per my knowledge till date this issue is not raised by any leader, celebrity, media and anyone else. A discussion must be hold on the above point. Media must ask this question to all candidates and political parties and on part of election commission, the authorities must search out the ways, methods to reduce cost of holding elections. It can be by holding elections on holidays or re-imbursement of working hours of election duty on some other day. Election if possible can be digitized to reduce cost. Many more methods may be their which can be looked upon.
I am sure that the above points of expenditure and cost reduction if implemented can greatly change the picture of State economy and will benefit common man.

Image via Wikipedia

Dates for 15th Lok Sabha Election has been announced by Election Commission on MOnday by Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalaswami and Election Commissioners Naveen Chawla and S Y Qureshi.

Elections will held in five phases all over the country and model code of conduct has started with immediate effect.

Dates of Election are as follows :

April 16 - First phase in 124 constituencies

April 23 - Second phase covering 141 constituencies

April 30 - Third phase in 107 constituencies

May 7 - Fourth phase across 85 constituencies

May 13 - Fifth phase in 86 constituencies

May 16 - Counting of Votes

By June 2 the 15th Lok Sabha will be constituted

The big question is will it once again be the Congress-led UPA? Or will the BJP-led NDA return to government? And who will be Next Big Boss of country Mr. Manmohan Singh again or will L K Advani Or Some third one. Many Political calculations will change this time in view of latest delimitations.

In this election two candidates are declared prime ministerial candidates, Manmohan Singh and L.K Advani.

But in one and half month till the last poll is cast the scenario will take a lot of changes and many factors will affect polling campaign. Some big issues are economic slowdown, increasing prices, corruption, etc.
