CRIME AGAINST WOMEN

In last few months so many news are there in e-media and newspapers about crime against women and many incidents are reported from small towns and even villages. There is a urgent need to find out the reasons behind it. Today our youths are wasting their too much time with electronic devices like television and mobile

About television my observation is that they shows too much violence and these violent activities have negative impact on teenagers and youths mind. Also free and low cost access to internet through mobile has lead to youth fascination towards many unwanted material on net.

The highly decreased personal interaction between human beings is also responsible for crime because new young generations fail to understand the importance of moral and social values. The topic of discussion among youth groups are generally vulgar and negative and leads to increased crime. If the energy of youths are used and taken into right direction then it will be beneficial for society and nation.

The change in social pattern have resulted in postpone of individual rights, duties and responsibilities from social and personal point of view because generally a youth get established in his life in the age of 26-27 after getting education and some experience which gets conflicted with the change in humans body biological requirements.

Another reason is high rate of unemployment in our country which increases frustration and frustration leads to crime.

An important reason behind crime against women is decreasing girl ratio in society although government has started ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padao’ movement but still the daughters marriage, dowry problem and dependency of parents on son is a very big hurdle in way of government mission of ‘Save Girl Child

To control crime against women awareness, moral values needs to be inculcated to all teenagers and youth by their teachers, parent’s elders and seniors. I think in every village, small towns and cities a monthly programme must be organized to teach the society about giving care & respect to women’s. Also moral science subjects in education should also teach the students about dignity of women’s.

STATUES DEFACING

After the declaration of election result in North Eastern states Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura a new political move has started to damage statues of different social and political leaders.

Two-three days ago statue of Mr. Lenin was laid down by a mob in North-East and the incident has been reported as breaking news by Media and many renowned leaders expressed their views in and against the move and this debate actually put the oil in fire and reaction was defacing statue of Sh. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee in West Bengal. Now some more views in and against will be reported like anything which may further increase the intensity of problem and may leads to unbalance in society.

Defacing of statues is not a right move for any society and the move will take society into wrong direction and increase division in society. The India has long history of good social values and integrity among different groups of society.

From above act of few selfish peoples a path of rift has taken birth which will be followed by peoples with malign interest for their own benefits.

It will generate burns to our nation which will take long time to heal but will leave their marks on the forehead of nation.

I request all to keep you calm & away from above movements and ask for the politicians who have some moral ethics towards society and nation.

In one of my recent visit to a marriage function i seen that mostly people taken seat in their own vehicles and did not walked with 'Groom' till temple. Even before departure of Groom from home almost everyone is busy in himself surfing with their mobiles. Marriage party are not so much enjoying event now and most of the peoples just participate to complete formality. The modern busy life is just not have a impact on marriage events but completely dented our social culture. In death cases also people either reach directly to crimination ground or don't walk with body just move few meters and then take their vehicles and during process of crimination many are in hurry to move and don't stay their till completion of activity which is very bad.

What steps should be taken to stop decreasing humanity / moral values in today modern life. How we should increase social co-operation and move forward to give help to others in hour of need as everyone has to pass through good and bad times and social programs are essential part of every human beings.

We must realize this decreasing mutual co-operation inside social structure otherwise in future if social co-operation will end it will be a very big factor in end of cultured society.

I invite all readers to please post your suggestion to increase social and moral values, harmony inside the society.

Legalize prostitution if you can't curb it: SC to govt - India - The Times of India

Firstly i would like to say I am not against any order of Hon'ble Apex Court and below written points are not against any orders of Hon'ble Court.

Can we imagine what impact it will have on society in case it is legalized?

And why the government is not able to curb because of corruption/less effective administration/involvement of high profile peoples etc.

I know it is very hard to eliminate but it can be scaled down to rock bottom

many peoples will get involved in this trade in case it is legalized especially when no other alternative is their to earn their livelihood many will simply got engaged in this field. Personally I think once someone get involved it will be not possible for him to come out of this trade. Just imagine that after 20-30 years what will happen in society, in every street/corner & locality out of every 10 peoples 2-4 persons are sex workers and it may also lead to clash between good families and those sex workers creating law & order problems.
Sometime creating problem / clash between elder and younger generation.

I am not denying the fact that it will also have some positive impact on society like instead of bring criminal/naxalite/terrorist etc. one more easy way is available for peoples to earn their livelihood but still at cost of moral and social values. It will totally change social paradigms of society.

Moreover the criminals who are doing it now will work with open handed and a new class of mafia will come into existence in association with corrupt officials.

It will not only increase corruption but will also lead to loss of moral values in society and for our social/moral values We Indians have proud of us.

In case of any objection please let me know so that article can be removed.

Ragging

Ragging is a growing cause of concern in higher educational institutions of India. although the laws and rules had been made but enforcement is the area where we lost our all wickets. college authorities, staff and student representatives must work to save new/junior students from harassment. Recently the death of a medical students in ragging case at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College at Himachal Pradesh had broken to sleep of concerned authorities, media, government, NGO and society. It is the most hot topic for Media. NGO's, government authorities and everyone common man is discussing about ragging issue. Even court has issued directives in this regard. UGC says the donations will be less for the institutions who will fail to stop ragging. The main thing is that after few months everyone will forget about ragging. I think solution of this problem is not in taking steps one time and sleep till the next case happens but following steps must be implemented in all higher education institutions. They are as follows :-

- Spread Awareness among students especially the seniors

- Formal introduction meet organized by college authroties under their supervision

- Parents should inculcate good ethics in their wards against ragging

- A common national anti-ragging website where anyone can report the matter and counselling is available for him

- National toll free anti ragging helpline

- All colleges must invite inspection committees from other colleges/government departments/NGO's to check the anti ragging measures in their campus and hostels.

AT LAST I SAY THAT ALL THE STEPS MENTIONED ABOVE NEEDS REVISION EVERY YEAR.
